Barbados is the ultimate year-round destination, offering stunning, white sand beaches, a temperate climate, breathtaking natural beauty it is one of the finest, unspoiled island paradises you’ll find.
Located to the east of the Caribbean Sea, Barbados is part of the Lesser Antilles island chain. The island’s rich heritage has strong British links reflected in its delightful colonial charm, and the Bajans themselves are renowned for their warm hospitality. Picturesque fishing villages, quaint rum shops and bright chattel houses complete the picture to give the island its vibrant character.
The three distinct coastlines of Barbados offer visitors a smorgasboard of variety, and this Caribbean oasis truly does have it all. From the luxurious white sand beaches hotels along the popular west coast (or gold coast) of the island, to the lively beaches, restaurants and bars of the south coast and the rugged less developed shores of the east, there is something to suit every taste, and every budget.
Despite being just 21 miles long and 14 miles wide, there is no shortage of things to do on the island, including a multitude of sports both above, on and under the water, historic caves and native flora and fauna, or simply enjoying for yourself the vibrance of Bajan Roots and Rhythms.

Enjoying a generally warm and sunny climate all year round, you can expect average temperatures of 29-32 degrees. The nights are usually slightly cooler, and the prevailing northeast tradewinds blow steadily so that although it is bright and sunny, it is not unbearably hot.
