Itinerary I: North Malé, South Malé and Felidoo Atolls

Day 1 – Welcome Aboard
Boarding 4:00 p.m. Sunday, followed by dinner and a welcome briefing.

Days 2 and 3 – Kuda Giri Wreck
Diving begins at the Kuda Giri Wreck, followed by dives at Kandooma Thila, Guraidhoo Corner, Cocoa Corner and Medhu Faru.

Day 4 – Coral Ceilings and Sizzling Shark Action
Diving at Guraidhoo Corner, Miyaru Kandu and Fotteyo, one of the week’s highlights. Fotteyo, a photographer’s paradise, has overhangs and cave ceilings that are covered in soft corals. You may encounter sharks, Titan Triggerfish and schools of Sweetlips.

Days 5 and 6 – Ambara Thila’s Amazing Anemones
Diving continues Thursday at Fotteyo, Rakeedhoo Kandu, and Vattaru Kandu, where Leopard Sharks and Manta Rays are often seen. Mulaku Kandu, Rakeedhoo Kandu, Ambara Thila, which is home to hundreds of anemones, and Kudiboli Kandu are Friday’s scheduled dives.

Day 7 – Farewell Dives with Mantas
The week culminates with stops at Guraidhoo Corner, Embudhoo Express, Victory Wreck and Manta Point, a Manta Ray cleaning station. Tours in Malé are offered on Saturday afternoon. The Captain hosts a farewell evening cocktail party. The crew will make dinner arrangements at a local restaurant.

Day 8 – Checkout
Check out is 7:00 a.m. Sunday. Day rooms in Malé are available for up to 12 hours.

Itinerary II: Ari Atoll

Day 1 – Welcome Aboard
Boarding 4:00 p.m. Sunday, followed by dinner and a welcome briefing.

Day 2 – High-Adrenaline Diving!
The week kicks off Monday at Rasdhoo- Madivaru, one of the most spectacular reef formations in the Ari Atoll, with residents like Hammerhead Sharks, Manta Rays, Trevally and much more.

Days 3 though 6 – Blue Caves and Panett one
The crew escorts you to fabulous sites like Madivaru-Hammerheads, Ukulhas Thila, Miyaruga Thila and Panettone. One of the week’s many unique sites is Maalhoss Thila, also called “Blue Caves,” where the cave ceilings are covered in white and blue soft corals.

Day 7 – Back to Malé
Diving wraps up Saturday morning at Maamigili Faru and Kudarah Thila, returning to port late afternoon. Tours in Malé are offered Saturday afternoon. The Captain hosts a farewell evening cocktail party. The crew will make dinner arrangements at a local restaurant.

Day 8 – Checkout
Check out is 7:00 a.m. Sunday. Day rooms in Malé are available for up to 12 hours.

Diving
There are three distinctly different types of diving from Agressor in the Maldives. inside the atolls, outside the atolls and inside the channels or passes, which is where the currents are strongest and you’ll find the greatest congregation of fish life. Most intriguing are the cleaning stations, found around every corner and under every ledge. Groupers, snappers, surgeonfish, eels, Parrotfish, even Giant Napoleon Wrasse park casually in corners, oblivious to all, (including cameras) while armies of wrasse, shrimp and other assorted cleaners pick at debris in their open gills and cavernous mouths.

The big attraction, however, are the schools of fish that patrol the reefs in colorful packs: Humpback and Black and White snappers,Trevally Jacks, Barracuda, Batf ish, Unicornfi sh, Yellowback Fusiliers and Harlequin sweetlips almost comical in design. The reef’s larger inhabitants, including sharks, rays and occasionally even Whale sharks, are often seen cruising in the blue.

All diving is carried out from the extra Diving boat (Dhoni), 60 ft. boat with 2 air compressors, fully equipped for scuba diving. A DAN emergency case, GPS and oxygen are also on the Dhoni. 12l Aluminium tanks with DIN/INT valves, lead and belt are included in the package price. Should you wish to rent diving equipment, please book it in advance.

Day one depending on your arrival, you will have the chance for swimming and snorkelling, the rest of the day is pure relaxation after your flight. The diving schedule will start on the following day and continue until 24h before check out. 16 dives are scheduled for a week of diving. The boat does do not follow fixed routes, but rather tailor each safari route to make the best possible dive trip. At the start of each safari, a rough route will be confirmed, followed by daily briefings on what specific dive sites will be visited. Before each dive, you will be thoroughly briefed and shown a map of the dive site.

Location
Dream voyager will cruise in North Male and North Ari Atol with a last stop on the private island of Heenfaru.

Rooms
There are 6 comfortable en-suite air-conditioned staterooms for 12 guests.
All cabins have double beds and a flat screen TV with a selection of movies to watch.
Cabins have bathroom with hot and cold water and hairdryer.

Facilities
The lounge is equipped with an indoor restaurant and the Captain’s Bar. Meals can be enjoyed either in the lounge or on the outside deck. On the day of arrival the Captain will host a Cocktail party to welcome guests. Daily ‘Happy Hour’ in the evenings can be enjoyed inside or outside on the deck area.

Location
Based on Medufushi Island which is 45 mins air taxi from Male International airport. The boat covers diving in the south Maldives area.

Rooms
The boat has 7 cabins for hire, plus staff accommodation.
Lower deck cabins have single beds.
Two upper deck cabins have double beds.
All have ensuire bathrooms with basin, toilet and fresh water shower.

Facilities
Full board is included, meals can be served outside at the stern or in the spacious salon. A BBQ ashore is held once a week. There is a well stocked bar for guests. Tea, coffee and water are available, free of charge, all day.

Diving
Diving is on untouched & unexplored reefs and channels in the Meemu, Laamu and Thaa Atolls in the Southern Maldives. On request, alternate routes travelling to Felidhoo Atoll (hammerhead sharks) and South Ari Atoll (whalesharks) are also available. The tours will include diving well known, top dive sites in the respective atolls as well as feature an element of “expedition”, diving to charter unknown diving regions. Sightings of mantas and whalesharks are almost guaranteed in the Meemu Atoll.

A diving dhoni accompanies the boat with capacity for 18 divers. All diving equipment is stored on the dhoni. Equipment can be rented on joining in Medhufushi.Two or three dives are scheduled per day and one or two night dives per week.

Most dives are drift dives, you will be collected at the end by the dhoni.
Divers must have 60 logged dives and an advanced diver license is preferred.
Maximum depth is 30m according to official regulations.

Day 1 – Delhi
Assemble at the Safdarjung Railway Station by 1600hrs for a traditional welcome and to being your journey across Rajasthan aboard the Palace on Wheels. The train departs at 1830hrs.

Day 2 – Jaipur
You arrive early in the morning to the pink city of Jaipur. After breakfast onboard you will be taken around the main sights of Jaipur city including the impressive Amber fort, the remarkable City Palace Complex, and the magical Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. After lunch you visit Jantar Mantar the 17th century royal observatory.
Return back to the Palace on Wheels by 18:30 hours and after dinner set off for the next location – Sawai Madhopur.

Day 3 – Sawai Madhopur – Chittorgarh
A thrilling day of wildlife safari adventures in the Ranthambore National Park today. Nothing can quite prepare you for the excitement of your first glimpse of the endangered Tiger in its natural habitat. After the safari you will return to the Palace on Wheels and travel to Chittorgarh.
After lunch you will explore Chittorgarh Fort, the largest and grandest fort in the state of Rajasthan. Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Udaipur
You will arrive in Udaipur the city of lakes this morning. Udaipur was founded by Maharana Udai Singh in the 15th century and is today one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Visit Jag Niwas the romantic Lake Palace, and the Jag Mandir Palace with no less than eight life size marble elephants and the Jagdish temple. After lunch visit the spectacular City Palace complex before returning to the Palace on Wheels for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Jaisalmer
This morning you will wake up in Jaisalmer, the Golden City which sits amid the Thar Desert. Here visit some of the many astonishingly beautiful havelis and mansions . You can also visit the local markets to shop for local handicrafts. After lunch on board the Palace of Wheels you will head out to visit the sand dunes. A camel ride and the gorgeous views of the sunset over the dunes are a photographers dream come true. Dinner and a cultural extravaganza wait to surprise you in a top hotel in Jaisalmer. Return to the train for overnight and travel on to Jodhpur.

Day 6 – Jodhpur
Jodhpur is famous for Mehrangarh fort, the Jaswant Thada, and the Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Enjoy your lunch in a palace hotel and later there is time for some shopping in the bustling markets of Jodhpur where you can pick up handicraft items such as embroidered shoes, silverware and tie and dye fabrics. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the train.

Day 7 – Bharatpur/Agra
This morning in Bharatpur you visit the Ghana Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary and National Park. The huge numbers of migratory bird species that flock to this place every year, make the wildlife environs of Bharatpur all the more special. Then onwards towards Agra. The train will halt at the ancient abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri . Later in Agra you will visit the splendid Taj Mahal one of the world’s most beautiful buildings and a monument to love. After you have traveled around the Agra monuments and the markets with marble souvenirs, jewelry and leather goods you will board the train again to return to Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the Palace on Wheels train.

Day 8 – Delhi
You arrive back in Delhi this morning for the end of this amazing luxury train journey of Rajasthan and India on the most regal Palace of Wheels.

Day 5: Ranthambore

Your tour begins in Kochi (previously know as Cochin) an ancient spice trading port. Residing atop the peak of a sheer submerged mountain range, the Cayman Islands are surrounded by the Cayman Trench. Thanks to the calm waters, healthy coral reefs, and extensive visibility, the Cayman Islands have become a prime destination for underwater photographers. It’s the Caribbean’s oldest photography school, and the place to learn how to best capture underwater wrecks, flora, the limestone peaks of a submerged mountain range, and the otherworldly creatures at Stingray City. Scuba instruction and certification is available at all levels, from a basic resort course through to Master Scuba Instructor level. Where are The Cayman Islands?
Located just one hour south of Miami, flight time from the UK is approximately 10.5 hours, straight into Grand Caymans International airport. British Airways is currently the only carrier to offer a direct service four times weekly from London (Heathrow) to Grand Cayman on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (note, there is an intermediate stop in Nassau, Bahamas). Onward travel to Little Cayman or Cayman Brac is via an internal hopper flight, just 40 minutes in duration.

When to go:
The islands enjoy year round daily temperatures of around 25-30 degrees. The summer months (May to October) are also considered to be the rainy season, however showers are brief.

Barefoot Traveller’s Top Tip: Peak season runs from Mid-December to Mid April (the winter months), so we recommend couples looking for a more intimate escape (not to mention the lower season rates) should avoid these busy peak times.

Where to Stay:
A wide range of accommodation options are available, and whether you choose to spend your honeymoon in the lap of luxury at one of Grand Cayman’s upscale resorts, or simply relax in romantic seclusion away from it all at a cozy beach bungalow in Little Cayman or Cayman Brac, no matter where you go you will find the warm, hospitality and high end service that Cayman is renowned for.

Spend some time in Grand Cayman, the largest and most glamorous of the three islands. The island’s glitziest address is Seven Mile Beach (which is actually only 5.5 miles long!), where you will find some of the islands most luxurious properties, including the Westin Casuarina and The Ritz Carlton, top restaurants, casino’s and more.

A short 40 minute hopper flight will take you to the sister islands of Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, for a completely different side to Cayman which should not be missed. Little Cayman, with a population of just 150, offers a serene sanctuary for wildlife and for divers, is the site of the Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park (regularly voted amongst the top dive site in the world). Cayman Brac, by comparison, is also a haven for wildlife, but unlike the complete flatness of Little Cayman, is celebrated for its craggy Bluffs and explorable caves. Blue Iguana Encounter

Visit Stingray City

On the South Male Atoll, Kandooma Island is only a 45 min boat ride away from the airport and a 20 min walk around the whole island.
